Who am I?
Corné Gieselbach
I am a theologian and writer shaped by the sacred rhythms of the Church— the Eucharist, the Word, and wonder. My calling is to serve through theology that is not only studied but lived; not only taught, but prayed. I write and teach to help the Church recover its depth, its beauty, and its sacramental imagination.
After years of church planting in Cape Town, I now serve as a faculty member at TheosSeminary while completing my Master’s in Theology. My work centers on Eucharistic theology and spiritual formation—helping churches and leaders rediscover how the mystery of the Table can reshape our worship, discipleship, and daily life.
This space exists to share who I am, what I write, and how I serve. My essays live on Substack, where I publish biweekly reflections on theology, philosophy, and Christian spirituality. If you’re a pastor or leader seeking to deepen your community’s formation, I’d love to partner with you.
“Theology, for me, is doxology—it is study offered back as worship.”
